The Michael Jackson Homicide: Who is to Blame?
On June 25th, 2009, the biggest pop star in history, Michael Jackson, collapsed at his rented mansion in Los Angeles. He was pronounced dead shortly after at the tender age of 50.
Soon after Michael’s death, speculation started to circulate that someone was responsible. Many people, (including the Jackson family), suspected foul play and demanded that more tests be undertaken.
After many forensic tests, the Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide caused by a cocktail of drugs. The blame has now shifted to Michael’s doctor, Conrad Murray, who will likely be facing charges.
Now, the question remains: “Who is to blame”? Was Michael responsible for his own death or is this a case of homicide?
